For the past year, Colored Television has been fueled by the will of filmmakers and activists working to build this vision. Now we are seeking $50,000 to move from a grassroots effort to a permanent institution. This “Independence” round is the bridge that turns our prototype into a professional self-sustaining archival ecosystem.

- The Launchpad: Providing startup overhead so future gifts contribute 100% for the Census of Wisdom, and ongoing Production and Archiving
- Institutional Legitimacy: Securing the legal and operational infrastructure for the NYPL, Schomburg Center, Government Grants and CSR partnerships
- The Spectrum Circle: a round of website updates that enhance the fundraising infrastructure including the recurring donations and Legacy scheduling
