Terms of Service

Welcome to ColoredTV.org. This website is owned and operated by Colored Television Organization Inc., a not-for-profit production company, aka Colored TV. By accessing our website, purchasing our merchandise, or joining our membership, you agree to be bound by the following Terms of Service.

1. Intellectual Property Rights

All content on this site is the exclusive property of ColoredTV and its creators. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Original Productions: Eldster, Number$, I Was There When (IWTW), and Black & Blue Blood.
  • Branding: The “Colored Television” name, logos, and stylistic elements.
  • Merchandise Designs: Artwork appearing on apparel, mugs, notebooks, and backpacks.

Usage Restriction: You are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to view our content for personal, non-commercial use. You may not reproduce, distribute, or “scrape” our artwork or video content for resale or use on other platforms without express written consent.

2. Membership & Account Security

By purchasing a membership, you receive a non-transferable right to access “Member Only” content.

  • Account Creation: You may access the site via third-party social logins (Google, Apple, LinkedIn, Facebook) or by creating a unique ColoredTV username and password.
  • Security Responsibility: You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
  • Prohibited Sharing: Sharing login credentials—whether social or direct—to allow non-members access to our exclusive Intellectual Property is a violation of these terms and may result in immediate account termination without refund.

3. Donations

Donations to our non-profit productions are voluntary contributions.

  • No Exchange of Goods: Donations do not constitute a purchase of equity, IP rights, or physical goods unless specifically tied to a “Reward Tier” at checkout.
  • Finality: All donations are non-refundable.

4. Merchandise Sales

  • Product Accuracy: We strive to display the colors and textures of our apparel and hard goods as accurately as possible. However, we cannot guarantee that your monitor’s display of any color will be 100% accurate.
  • Order Limitations: We reserve the right to limit the sales of our products or services to any person or geographic region on a case-by-case basis.

5. User Conduct & Community

If you participate in comments or member-only forums:

  • Respect: No harassment, hate speech, or “trolling.”
  • IP Protection: Do not post or upload content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others.

6. Limitation of Liability

ColoredTV provides this platform on an “as-is” basis. While we produce high-quality content and gear, we are not liable for any damages arising from the use of our website or the wearing/use of our physical merchandise beyond the replacement cost of the item.
